Letter G, nonsense poem - this is quite a tongue twister!

Ooh Gg, how tricky you are, both to say and to write! There are two sounds associated with the letter G, the hard sound as in 'gurgle' and the soft sound as in 'giraffe'. It is the hard sound that is hardest to say as it is produced from the back of the throat. It is very similar to 'k' in this respect. Many children may need assistance with making this sound, so it's a good one to watch out for. Have fun gurgling for some practice!
