A nonsense poem for the letter E. 

The letter E has a long and a short sound. It's phonic's sound is he short 'e' sound, as in egg. The long sound is like the 'ee' sound in bee. It's one of the trickier ones to learn to write, a lot of children will do this backwards for quite a while.
