The Happy Hooves gang are back! In this latest brilliant story about our favourite farmyard animals, Happy Hooves, Yuk! follows the animals as they each get invited to Pig's house who has cooked up some interesting (and often fairly yuk) culinary delights! It's funny, engaging, and will give some food for thought on what children can cook up next!

The third book in this delightful series is sensational and Rebecca Elliott's illustrations just keep getting better.

Another winner in the Happy Hooves 'stable'

This rhyming story about about Pig and all his farmyard friends is delightful and fun to read to children. Pig is hungry and decides to throw a party for all his farmyard friends who surely are as hungry. He prepares the food that he loves but they all turn their noses up at his choices and say Yuk! Cow, donkey and sheep prefer their own food until pig comes up with something they can all love.

Little children get completely involved and love to join in and shout 'Yuk'. The illustrations are lovely, too. The power of this story is its appeal to parents as well as the child and subtlely helps children to see things from another's point of view.

I would give this book 5 stars and will definitely be a Christmas present for many of the 3 - 7 year olds I know.

"We had a proper little giggle on each page!"

"I read this to my 4 year old boy Callum. It was such an easy read and we found it very funny! without giving the story away...it made him think about how people are different and also how we are similar. Its written in a rhyming manner which makes it easier to read and Callum loves books that rhyme. I'll also be honest and say I can't think of anything I didn't like about the book. It perfectly targets the age range it was meant to and although there are some bigger words or different words that Callum doesn't know reading those words helps to strengthen his vocabulary. the pictures are as equally as amusing as the story and we had a proper little giggle on each page. This was a delight to read and Callum thoroughly enjoyed listening to it and looking at the pictures." Stacy, Mother to Callum. Toppsta.com
